Management and Communication

Task Lists: Having all employees working on a task on one is critical to the success of a company. Employees should be made clear what their task is and how far each of them has progressed into a task.

For any business, the food industry in specific, it is important to know whether the previous task has finished for successive tasks to be able to reach the next stage in the supply chain on time so the product reaches the buyer optimally. This is also essential to ensure all employees are aware of the guidelines and regulations given to them

Scheduling: To ensure that an employee does not become complacent to the deadline and is not burdened with work load all at once it is important that one large goal is segregated into small achievable goals that can be fulfilled over a period of time. Using calendars and Gantt charts one can know how far they must have progressed to be able to finish the project at hand.

Reporting: The progress of the task at hand must be reported to higher authority on regular intervals. This ensures team transparency, reduces social loafing and allows an individual to get constant feedback on their progress, improving efficiency and optimizing their work.

File Sharing: Creating an efficient file sharing system allows all your data to be stored in one place and makes it easy for each employee to make decisions based on company data. This also reduces the time wasted on these activities.

Communication: A business must operate as a harmonious cohesive unit through which problems can be shared and everyone is made aware of the goals and objectives. Good communication is critical to a successful company.

All of the above mentioned are solutions and strategies given by shobi solutions that can be passed on by ICCI to those of their clients within the food industry.

From this experience we were able to see that it is not what you sell that can lead to success or failure within an industry but in fact how you sell something.
